It is an inescapable truth - I am an odd person. It has been argued (seriously, and not by me) that my entire last site almost defined oddness, and perhaps this is true. I prefer to think of it as a spontaneous emission of general eristic spirit. All things must balance, however, and this incarnation of the site is a great deal more calculated. But instead of depriving you of all the wonderful things that used to exist on the site, I have instead moved many of them here, and I hope to make this page better than the entirety of the last site. Well, maybe not better. On a par. Close to a par. Epsilon close to the quality. Near it. Kind of. Maybe. You know what, just don't expect anything and we'll get along just fine.

But before we get into anything heavy, here is Floppy Cthulhu to make a statement on the latest Federal Reserve Monetary Policy Statement:

With that said, let's move on to other business. If memory serves me correctly, I seem to remember once having a useless facts page here. And at least two quote files, one of them Discordian, one of them slightly more Aneristic. I haven't quite decided what to do yet. There's plenty of other sites out there that offer useless facts, really, and a much greater number than I ever could. So we'll see where I end up about that. I'd really much rather offer original content. With regards to that - my old Discordian Quotes file was a copy of one off KBuxton's Discordian site, still up and running, which is amazing in and of itself. She was never properly credited, so I do that now. Hers was one of the sites that led me on to my own discovery of Goddess. Ideally, someday I'll tell y'all what I did with her. The goddess, not Kbuxton. That aside, I'm still curious as to the origin of the quotes, so I will be presenting not one, but two versions of the quote page, one with sources for the people who can't deal with an unanswered question, and one in its original mysterious glory. Both of these were unready by the launch date, and thus are not here. My apologies, kinda.

Beyond that, I haven't felt all that weird latelyTHE HORROR, so you know, I figured that since I don't have to worry about maintaining any kind of facade of sanity on this section, I could just post stuff as it comes up. And that's what I'm going to do. The quotes will be the first thing up, and we'll go from there.
